Affordable Kentucky Pet Crematory LLC

My sister passed in October 2024 and we inherited her cat, Faith. When she passed, we chose Affordable Kentucky Pet Crematory as it was affordable and what we were told would happen felt warm and comforting in a time that was full of sorrow. We were told to pick her remains up on Christmas eve 2025 (about 2 months later). Due to the weather at the time we were unable to make it on the 24th. Assuming they would be closed on Christmas, I called on the 26th to arrange to pick up her ashes. I was told they were not ready due to weather and a string of funerals. Understanding that all loss is hard, I agreed to wait. Two months later (February 21,2026) i called back to see if she was ready. She seemed quite irritated and continued to insist that she would call when Faith was ready and she was the the first to be cremated that very night. It's now June 3, 2026, roughly 8 motnths later, and NOTHING. I doubt we will ever have her remains.

Extremely kind and caring family run business. Mrs. Deb is a very kind and compassionate caring professional helping you through a difficult process of losing a loved pet. Very good to work with and very understanding. She goes way above and beyond and provide real comfort and compassion. Shes been in business over 40 years. I highly recommend her to anyone going through this process Also affordable as well.

At a time when your heart is deeply broken in what seems to be disrepair, this couple steps up with such kindness and compassion and wraps you with words of comfort. Every text and phone conversation she referred to our furbaby with endearing words. Her husband sent me a message the day our sweet kitties ashes were mailed to us; when it arrived, his ashes were in a crocheted baby blue bag with a kind, hand written letter, sending God's love and comfort for us and thanking us for caring for His animals so lovingly. I HIGHLY recommend them; we will gladly drive 2.5 hours for their services. Hands down some of the best money spent regarding the finality of our pets life. ❤️

This place was beyond compassionate and went above and beyond with great detail. I felt my dog was deeply respected as a member of our family and treated as such. Extremely affordable and great last minute. Would def recommend to anyone with fur babies ♥️

After the passing of my sweet fur baby Gabby, I called Deb into the early morning hours and she responded right away. She is definitely an earth bound angel with her compassion and sympathy she gave, it was pure and genuine. I dropped my baby off to Deb the next evening and although I was feeling so broken hearted, I felt comfort in knowing she would take care of my life long best friend even after she had crossed the rainbow bridge. I highly recommend this facility, and once you meet Deb you will know that she was sent to do the Lord's work here on earth for the broken hearted! Thank you Deb. ❤️

The woman who runs this business is so kind and compassionate. I called many places surrounding and she is by far the best in the state, not just because of the price but because she genuinely cares!

I used Deb’s services twice last year after losing two of my beloved dogs — first my Shih Tzu in June and then my boxer in October. For my first dog, I was told the wait would be about two months since she runs the facility alone. I’ll admit that initially felt like a long time, as in the past when I used cremation services through my veterinarian’s office, I received my pets’ remains back within about a week. However, I understood and respected that she operates the crematory by herself, and I did receive him back on the scheduled date as promised. Unfortunately, my second experience was much more difficult. I was originally told I could pick my boxer up on December 18th. When I called that day to confirm pickup, I was told she was out of town for a funeral and didn’t know when my dog would be ready. The comment was delivered in a way that felt dismissive during an already painful time, which added to the frustration. I called 2 different times after this, & was continuously told she wasn’t ready, even though I was told she would be the first dog cremated that evening. (10-13-25) I ultimately did not receive my dog’s remains until four months after I dropped her off. (2-16-26) While I believe my pets were treated with care, the repeated delays, lack of communication, and absence of any apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience made an already heartbreaking time significantly more difficult. Running a business that serves grieving families requires reliability and professionalism, and if the workload is too much for one person, adjustments need to be made. Because of my experience, I will not be using or recommending her business in the future.
