Compassionate Cremation Services, Inc.

Our family, highly recommends, the professional and courteous, compassionate assistance provided by Thomas Garretson and his team. True professionals at a most difficult time.

When our mother passed away at the age of 91, my brothers and I needed to arrange for her cremation. Compassionate Cremation Services in Clifton, NJ was there to assist us with the process. They were professional, caring and efficient. They took care of each step and made this difficult time so much easier to bear. Their fees are very reasonable and were defined up-front. The web-site is easy to navigate and comprehensive. I can strongly recommend this business to anyone who needs direct cremation services.

The care and communication I experienced here was outstanding! I selected one of the most beautifully unique urns I had ever seen. Suited my mom perfectly. Tom is a saint! His patience with me during this difficult time was amazing. Highly recommended.

Both Roy and his son Tom offered our family amazing care and compassion through a very difficult time. They guided us through the cremation process with ease and support. They were expedient and respectful. Their impeccable services were very fairly priced and the quality of their service far exceeded what we would have expected.

The service they provided was compassionate in everyway. We'll dressed men arrived to pick up my mother's body from our home. They were extremely discrete and professional they prepared her for travel carried her out on a gurny and the and then once outside the wheels dropped down and they quietly rolled her away covered with a Burgundy velvet material so regal ,elegant like my mom. I would recommend their services to everyone they understood the assignment. That will forever be apart if the wonderful memories I have of my mother.

Tom was amazing to deal with. My boyfriend lost his mom suddenly and he was able to help us in so many ways. The process was extremely stress free at such a hard time. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

My ninety two year old mom passed away in Oct 2020 and I want to say that I and my family was so pleased with their services. Nancy and Roy are very helpful and extremely compassionate. Nancy guided us through everything with ease and respect. I highly recommend Compassionate Cremation located in the Shook funeral home.
