Our precious dog Tori passed away on Tuesday. It was a shock to wake up to. We didn't know what to do. After calling several other places, i finally soke with Sandy at Kenosha Funeral Services. She was so nice & understanding, compassionate. Her comfort made the process bearable. They were quick, efficient and extremely nice. I definitely recommend them in you time of need. Great Experience During a Difficult Time I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Joe and the entire team at Kenosha Funeral Services and Crematory. Joe was kind enough to come in on his day off to help us after the loss of our beloved pet. The whole team made us feel comfortable and supported, answering all of our questions with compassion and care. I truly appreciate their professionalism and empathy during such a difficult time. I would absolutely recommend them for all afterlife needs—whether for humans or animals.

I brought my parakeet here on December 26,2014 and paid with my first born child and left arm for a private cremation. It wasn’t until recently when I opened the urn to put ashes in a pendant necklace, and I was surprisingly shocked to see what the urn contained. I know for fact that this is not a private cremation with my budgie. I have someone’s cat rabbit and someone’s grandma in here. I don’t remember the exact price I paid for the cremation, but it was well in the $300s For a little bird that only weighed 25 g if that. I added two pictures. One of the pictures has two Ziploc baggies containing two other pets of mine that I had cremated, and those were private cremations containing another parakeet and a cockatiel. The second picture Is the work Kenosha funeral services is did it’s almost the size of my fist. I would never take my mother to get cremated because they burn bodies together!

One of our cats passed away last week and I didn't want to pay the high price of having him cremated through a veterinarian. While researching for another option I came across Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory. I gave them a call and was pleasantly surprised when they told me the price. They were very accommodating when it came to scheduling drop off and pick up times. Joe was able to meet me at the funeral home after my work hours and saved me from having to take time off from work. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to get there pet cremated.

The Braun family assisted our family with the funeral and burial of our mother, Dorothy, recently. They were very kind, compassionate, warm, and helpful during a very difficult and painful time. They walked us through what was needed, guided us gently through some tough choices, and allowed our family to be together to grieve our mom and share stories about her, in a lovely, warm environment. They created the most gorgeous casket spray out of some of the freshest flowers, beautifully coordinated colors, and a wide variety of flowers--it was absolutely stunning. The staff was wonderful, warm, and helpful. We would recommend Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory to anyone who is looking for professionalism, respect, and compassion. They did a beautiful job.

These prior reviews do not match anything of what myself and others on Yelp experienced do your research! Imagine just losing your love one and being rushed out the door. Perhaps this was because it was a pet rather than a person because I truly couldn't imagine if they do this to people who have lost a family member how I would react. The lack of emotion was incredible, almost like reading off a script. When I went to pick up my dogs ashes they beat me to the door handed him to me as if it was a Uber eats or DoorDash transaction and said sorry for your loss see ya. It made me extremely uncomfortable and very confused honestly. I understand the job and you probably can't be that invested in peoples situations but to quickly hand over my babies ashes and not even let me put a foot in the door was hurtful and odd. These are hard moments and nobody needs to feel uncomfortable or rushed with their feelings while already going through a tough time. Please work on that the dry behavior isn't working anymore.

Absolutely best funeral home in Kenosha - there is no debate. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for the way that the entire family handled my mother's funeral. Obviously, funeral planning is a tremendous time for anyone, but the Brauns made us feel like we were a part of their family. They were compassionate and sympathetic, and really took the time to make sure we understood all of our options, and how best to serve our needs. Not even once did they "push" us, or bully us into making financially draining decisions; Quite the opposite, in fact. The funeral home itself is calming and makes you feel like you're "home." I have been to funerals where it feels more like you're at a museum, than at a celebration of someone's life. At Kenosha Funeral Services, I felt like my mother was being honored, instead of being the subject of a cold, meaningless display. If you want your loved ones remembered and celebrated the way they deserve, there is no other choice than Kenosha Funeral Services.
