Bluegrass Pet Crematorium

We brought my best friend Theodore here last Wednesday. The staff are 😇 Angels. I don't know how they do this job. They were so kind and understanding. They gave us time with him, they didn't push us to buy anything. Absolutely top notch individuals here. I greatly appreciate them in these heartwrenching times. Until we meet again my friend 🫂 ❤️

I just wanted to say I really appreciate this place. I work at a vet clinic that uses these services for our clients and I have always been impressed. But now that I've had to use services here personally, I can say I am so grateful. The level of genuine kindness and respect shown is amazing. I was of course dreading getting these remains back. But when I saw the sweet extra gesture of this beautiful paw print, I got to smile when I was expecting to cry. (To be fair, I also cried). Thank you for making sure my baby was well taken care of even after she had left me. I got to be confident in the way my little cow was handled and got some beautiful things back to remember her by.

I had a disappointing experience when I called to inquire about becoming a new patient. The receptionist was extremely rude during the conversation. I simply asked if the office was accepting new patients and then inquired about a specific dentist whose online profile states that she is accepting new patients. Rather than answering my question professionally, the receptionist responded by telling me that I could call the mobile clinic or the Carlisle office. The interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful, and I was left without a clear answer regarding whether I could establish care with the dentist I was asking about. First impressions are important, and unfortunately this experience did not reflect the level of customer service I would expect from a healthcare provider's office.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the kindness & thoughtfulness they put into taking care of my beloved girl who passed very suddenly last week. My head was spinning and I didn’t even think to ask if the cremation included clay prints, and assumed I wasn’t going to get any. When I picked up her ashes from Med Vet and opened the bag to find the most precious prints I could’ve asked for, I couldn’t help but burst into tears as my heart flowed with gratitude. Thank you thank you for taking the time to make a beautiful memorial piece for my special girl.

Losing our dog Jinx was so tough. This is the first pet we have had to go through the cremation process. We cannot thank you enough for the care you gave Jinx after he left our arms. The wooden urn for his ashes is beautiful. The paw print is very special to us so we can remember his cute feet. Thank you so much. While we never want to say goodbye, I highly recommend entrusting Bluegrass Pet Crematorium with the care of your pets when they leave your arms.

I haven't even got his ashes back yet and am already giving them 5 stars. Very prompt and professional responses which make me feel like my pet & family are cared for and being taken care of. Edited 7.29.25: The crematorium picked Gus up on a Friday and he was returned back to us the following Monday. It was a sweet surprise to see they provided us with 2 paw print keepsakes. The quality & care they put into the entire process let me know he was well taken care of and it meant the world to us.

Losing Joey was absolutely devastating, especially as this was my first experience losing a dog. I cannot say enough about how incredible Ali and the team at Bluegrass Pet Crematorium were throughout the entire process. Ali guided me with such care, walking me through every step in advance so I knew what to expect. She even helped me choose Joey’s urn ahead of time, sparing me from having to make that decision during an incredibly emotional time. When Joey passed, Ali was there to receive him, and she kept me updated throughout the process. Knowing exactly when to expect his cremated remains was such a relief, and it brought me so much comfort to have him back home. The urn I chose was absolutely beautiful, and the keepsakes Ali created with Joey’s paw prints and a nose impression were truly special. It meant so much to me to know that Joey’s cremation took place on-site and that he never left their care. Having that peace of mind was invaluable during such a difficult time. I cannot recommend Bluegrass Pet Crematorium enough for anyone facing the loss of a beloved pet. Ali’s compassion and professionalism were unmatched—I would trust her with my own arrangements.
